Deniz Pekmezci is a composer, multi-instrumentalist performer, and avid music educator. He grew up in Ankara and Istanbul in Türkiye (Anatolia) where he learned from great musicians. Deniz has taught music since 2014 including drums, guitar, ear training, music theory, composition, songwriting, and demo recordin and joined the Victoria Conservatory of Music faculty as an outreach instructor to teach Sonic Pi music coding software. Deniz teaches music theory and composition privately as part of the Conservatory School of Music Technology and Creativity faculty.
